How do we define “creativity”? Why has a recent IBM poll of 1,500 CEO’s identified creativity as the number 1 leadership characteristic? How can you be more creative in your day-to-day life—especially in leadership roles?
This Spring 2011 course will answer these questions and more!
Students will:
- examine current theories of creativity;
- learn and use a range of creative thinking tools;
- develop an appreciation of interpersonal and organizational factors that influence creativity and innovation; and
- acquire innovative team leadership and facilitation skills in order to lead teams to achieve breakthrough creativity and problem solving.
This class is a fully online class, designed to develop your understanding of creativity—and to help you understand and develop creative problem solving skills!
