Welcome to the USM LAC Secondary Teacher Certification program page!
This new and innovative program is currently being offered at USM's Lewiston-Auburn College. Whether you are interested in earning a bachelor's in addition to being certified to teach or if you already have a bachelor's degree but wish to earn your teaching certificate, our program is the right place to start.
Our program has four different areas of focus or tracks:
- Secondary Teacher Certification/Life Science Certificate
- Secondary Teacher Certification/Humanities-English Certificate
- Secondary Teacher Certification/Humanities-Social Studies Certificate
- Secondary Teacher Certification/Humanities-Combined English and Social Studies Certificate
