How has change impacted our lives?
Have you ever stopped to think about it? How has the City of Bath, Maine changed in the last hundred to two hundred years? Does this have any effect on how you live today? You might not think so, but transportation has changed greatly in the last couple hundred years.
I think transportation is a very important issue and many of us have the notion that it came easy. Many hardships have shaped the transportation industry and it is important to learn where we have come from. I plan to explore some of these ideas by showing images of the past and comparing them with images of the present. Some of the transportation avenues I plan to show are shipping, local town land marks, river images and maps of Bath ranging four hundred years ago.
