and graduate levels in adult education, social and educational gerontology,
action research, death and bereavement, and baseball and American culture. Regular
guest lecturer at various conferences, institutes, and pre- retirement
education programs. Planning and Program Development: Planned
and developed over 100 courses, seminars, institutes and certificate
programs for business, social service, health personnel and other professional
audiences. Designed a statewide training plan in aging
for the State of Research and Publication: Have conducted numerous research projects,
using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Special emphasis has been on applied research. Have
published in professional journals and magazines in a wide variety
of subject areas including adult education, continuing higher education,
