Faculty Handbook Full-time and part-time regular employees of USM are eligible for tuition waivers in accordance with the Board of Trustees policy (March 28, 1973), and approved collective bargaining agreements (see AFUM Contract). The waiver can be used for a course or for a non-academic program such as the Lifeline Walk/Jog Program. Requests, submitted to the Dean, are available through the Staff Development Employee Education Dept. (228-8304). See for more information regarding professional development/travel funding with the College of Nursing and Health Professions.
