Communications practice for the Advanced Practice nurses; The role of the Nurse Psychotherapist; Evidence-Based clinical practice; Women’s mental health issues including: post partum depression; the balance of work and personal life; mother-daughter relationships, Parenting the adult child; co-authored a chapter on psychiatric/mental health differential diagnosis and served as editorial advisor for CE Today for Nurse Practitioners and on a 6 part multimedia course on depression. My most recent work Patient-Provider Communications: Caring to Listen is the first textbook specifically written for Advanced Practice nurses in the field of patient communication.
