Accreditation Status Both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs underwent review by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) in Spring 2010. Full accreditation was granted for the period March 1, 2010 to December 31, 2020. The Maine State Board of Nursing granted the baccalaureate program continuing approval in 2007 for six years until 2016. In 2006 the Exercise, Health, and Sport Sciences Athletic Training major was accredited for seven years by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).
