Pre-Intership Health Requirements
Students enrolled in REC 295/495, must submit the following PRIOR to the start of
the clinical/internship course.
- Please submit a copy of your Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) directly to your instructor.
CPR courses are offered by the American Heart Association and American Red Cross and are earned while taking the required course, REC 216.
Please submit documentation to:
- Two PPD/ Purified Protein Derivative tests (intradermal injection) administered two weeks apart. A chest x-ray is acceptable if you have had a positive PPD in the past or if contraindicated. If you have annual PPDs please submit your two most recent.
- Proof of current health insurance coverage. A copy of your card is acceptable.
